This is a very help guide on how the lap band works and helpful guides on how much you should eat.

Very good read for newbies, I am oldie and there are some very good guidelines for me too.

Thought I would share with everyone,

An informative and sensible guide but interesting  that they are still putting the old view that the food needs to fill the pouch and remain there. Most docs now accept the research which shows that food does not need to remain above the band for long and that the key is the slower eating that affects hunger levels.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

You are welcome! I find it very informative as well, some of this information I already knew, but a lot of information such as reminding me of the important rules of eating especially since I am so far out and sometimes forget the rules.
