failure
When's the last time you dropped 63 lbs and kept if off? Failure? I don't think so!
Don't let yourself go there! That kind of thinking will defeat you every time. You've been dealing with a lot. Maybe it's time to give yourself a break and know that this may not be fast journey but it's still worthwhile. If you're at all like me I would have gained 20 lbs in 2 years without my band.

I don't think you're a failure at ALL. But I also can't imagine how hard it is to be taking prednisone and also try to lose weight.
I know it's frustrating! I had high hopes for the band and when it failed miserably, it was very disheartening. I imagine it's similar for you just because of the prednisone? I can feel your frustration.
Sending you a hug, if nothing else!

Thank you, everyone. My band is working. It's my vasculitis and meds messing me up :( but I'll keep going. Exercise and eating healthy is a good thing no matter what. And I did get some of my gained weight off after the last flare and 80mg of pred. Until I can get off of pred the reality is I don't think much weight will come off. When will I get off pred? Well, I've been on it nonstop for 7 years, so I don't know LOL.
