NO NEED TO BE EMBARRASSED!! Your doc will have seen it all before! Sorry, lady, we all think we are unique but this is just plain ordinary! If we could all lose weight with no help, we wouldn't have had wls.

So you got off track? So you get back on! Do you need a fill? Or help from a nutritionist? Whatever it takes, get the professional help and then come back here for our support.

Kate.

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Get Failure out of your head first off.  Easier said than done, I know.  You are not a failure.  You are a people.  :)  The type of procedure may not have been right for you OR something may not be right with the band itself.  I went through the same thing, then after going to a new doc (whole different story!) we found that my lapband came open and wasn't even working properly.  I was so willing to blame myself first!  Some things just don't need blame.  It just is what it is.
Go to your doc and explain what is going on.  He is there to help you...not just install the lapband.  THis is all part of the process.  You aren't the first going in with this concern and you won't be the last.  He will not judge you - if he is a good doc, he wants to see you succeed and maybe he has a bag of tricks he can refer to!  :)  Good luck to you!

There is nothing to be embarressed about. He/She is the dr and needs to help you. Go in there with your held high and start day one again.  Just do it

Hello,

Today is the day!  I made an appointment for this afternoon to see my surgeon for
the first time in two years.

I am nervous and worried.  I'm sure I will get in trouble for not following up sooner.

Can I start over with this band?  I need a fresh start.

So nervous about today................
