During my pre op I lost 22lbs. My journey has not been easy or hard its been a trial and error. U have to learn your body all over again. I have not have any complications with the band AT ALL! people can say what they want I LOVE MY BAND

wow that's amazing.  How many ccs do you have in your band???  What kind of excersise do you do???  My 1 year anniversary will be February 16, 2012 and I've only lost about 35 lbs, I get so frustrated.  I'm sticking to the diet and I walk for 1 hour everyday.  I started at 208 lbs and now I weigh about 174.  Let me know what works for you...thanks...

Carol please keep in mind that hers is NOT the typical result! The band does NOT work for a great many of us. And for many that it does "work for" (meaning that they lose weight), it can often be b/c they have to keep it too tight so they can lose weight, and have frequent vomiting. So while some do lose a significant amount of wight with the band...........it's not always b/c the band is working properly, and it's not always a healthy situation for them!!!

You might want to research revision. Personally, if it were me, I would choose a DIFFERENT Dr. to do the revision though!!!

Good luck!
