Abdominoplasty after band experience?

We were discussing TT and Panni on the main board, I figured I would also ask my question here.

I have a tentative date for abdominoplasty on 1/24/12. I have a band and am curious about banders who had abdominoplasty done and if port site was repositioned. Do you feel like it affected how your band works at all?

My bariatric surgeon is going to call my plastic surgeon and discuss port placement.

My port will definitely be moved (It is currently about 3 inches directly above my belly button).

My port was not repositioned.

I haven't had any plastics, but I have heard several on here mention having the port re-positioned. I have never heard any mention of that having a negative effect afterwards.

I would hope that your PS has experience with working with bariatric patients.

My port is in the same location.  No problems after surgery.
