I've decided to excersise more....
I think exercising is the best choice, before doing and kind of surgery, or taking any kind of medicine.
I visited a few doctors to find a solution... Options are right diet, working out and exercising, weight loss pills, and weight loss surgery.
At this point I'm in the first stage, so I signed up for a gym two months ago, and it feels much better now.

Just starting my new weight Loss Journey with Lap Band.
Hi Carol,
I can't tell if you have a lap band or if you are pre surgery, but here's the key. You have to burn more than you take in. The only way you'll know if you're creating the deficit is to log your calories and track what you're burning.
Use a pedometer or other calorie burn tracker. It will help you see where you are and by loging your food choices you'll learn a lot about what you're putting in your body as well as how much.
I do Curves too, mostly for toning, but you really have to work it to get a cardio burn doing Curves. Walking is great too, so keep it up!
Honestly, I didn't exercise much my first year, just enough to help with toning. I lost my weight mostly by cutting out trigger foods and eliminating high carb/low nutritional value foods like bread, pasta, refined sugars, etc.
Keep at it!

Hi Carol...I'm right there with ya. It has been discouraging for me to see the scale NOT budge for weeks/months at a time BUT I haven't been diligent with my exercise. (Like not much at all). Everywhere I turn I see on the news/web/job that its important to exercise EVERY day. Dr.OZ even said it on his show today. I'm starting week 3 of Jorge Cruises 8 minutes in the morning 28 day workout plan next Monday and I can't tell you how GRRRRRRRReat I feel RIGHT now this very moment, as well as the past few days. Maybe you will see changes if you focus less on how long you walk and more on how often.
