The reason I correct it is because, man oh man, when you have damage to the Vagus nerve, it's no trip to Vegas!

Hey...on a slightly less funnier note. I am going to the hospital today to have a propofol induced nap. They are going to be giving me an epidural steroid injection while I'm under the Michael Jackson juice. I'm having it done because of the damage done to my diagphram and " VEGAS LOL " nerves from the damage that was done by my lap band. The damn band has been out for almost 6 months now and I'm still having hellacious nerve pain from it.

I actually thought it was getting better but for the last two weeks it has been taking over my life again. I think it's because the last epidural wore off and it's time for a new one. I hope that this will be my last time having to get this shot done. I lost count of how many of these I have had done, but if I had to guess...I would say this is number 29 or 30.

Now back to posting silly " VEGAS NERVE " PICTURES.....

I had a CT scan done 2 days ago. I still have massive damage, too. I just talked to the doc's nurse a little while ago, so fun fun fun for us. Damned Vagus nerves. I don't think people realize how much pain it can cause, honestly. If they did, they wouldn't get a band placed so closely to the diaphragm. That's all I can say. I wish I had realized before I let myself become damaged. Live and learn, huh?

Is there anything that can be done to reverse the nerve damage done to your nerves ? I'm taking 2500 of vitamin B sub-lingual twice a day and normally it really helps me, but lately it ain't doing **** Can you ask for the epidural injection Nicci. It really helps me manage my nerve pain along with taking Gabapentin.
