I keep seeing the infomercial for this and I'm dying to try one out but I don't want to order it for their "no risk in home trial" yeah - right!

I am thinking of cancelling the gym membership and going instead with a nice piece of in home equipment. I'm so busy that the all weather ability to just do it inside would be great.  But are there no stores you can actually try these things in real life?

Anyone have any experience with them?

Is that what  I woud call a step- or stair-machine?

Not that I can cooment on them!

Just to say that over time I have bought lots of expenive gym equipment. I use them for s month and then they gather dust. And their secondhand value is low because so many people buy them, use them for a month and then ...!

You probably have more sticking power than I do!

Oh, no this is different:

It's apparently like a treadmill, stair stepper, and elliptical machine all in one. They range from 1000 - 3000 in price. I have not been able to find a used one anywhere though.

And to add, in the UK there definitely are stores where you can try. Both big department stores with special sports departments and specialised gym equipment shops. I tried my expensive state-of-the-art rowing machine before buying, and my elliptical trader, and my stationery bike! All those ones I would now like to sell!! Shame shipping costs are high - you could have them!!

Might be worth looking locally for used ones?

But I am sure you have places to try them too!

I have one! I love it!

My advice to you is check craigslist. I found one on there for $300. I found alot on craigslist within 2 hours of our house actually. (when I say alot, I mean about 7 or 8..lol) They ranged from $500-$1500. I snagged the one for $300 an hour after it was posted. lol! Alot of them said they were practically new and from the pictures, you could tell that was more than likely true. I think alot of people just throught it was gonna be an easy workout and ordered one. Don't get me wrong, they aren't a super hard workout, but it's a pretty darn good workout. I have never dripped sweat on a machine like I do this one. I use it an hour a day. Usually broken up between morning and night.
