I want that "spark" back that I had the first year after surgery.......I want to be excited about my band.....
I am finding myself slipping back into my old ways......I eat anytime I want to....I what I want to......I haven't been to the gym in months........Water?  Wha****er?

Please, please give me some advice, tips, motivation or just a plain old kick in the ass...............

I have come too far to go back.....I have lost 140lbs and gained back 15lbs ....

Thanks,
Steph

Call your doctor and get a fill. Throw out all the junk food and got a notebook and start keeping track on paper everything you put in your mouth. You can lose those 15 lbs. real fast. Start walking a little bit each day and try to keep in the house stuff you know you can have that won't cause you to want to binge on. The holiday is in less than 3 wks. You need to get a grip before all those extra calorie**** your mouth. Take out something small that you liked and fit in and start your goal by fitting back in it. It's not too late just recoup your mindset. That's where its at. When you start thinking of eating do anything to distract yourself and get out of the kitchen. I hope this helps a little Steph. I also have a daughter with the same name. Good luck!!!!!!!!!

Hi Steph,
How about we give each other a swift kick in the ass...... . I was banded in September of last year and have found myself slacking over the last six months due to my schedule ( no excuse I know but there are only so many hours in a day). I got a fill last Thursday and decided that the slacking was over. I just got off my treadmill. I have started the couch to 5K and just did day one of my running for 30 minutes at a time. I feel so much better!!!!

You have done an awesome job with your weight loss, and I know you can continue to succeed. The Holidays will be somewhat of a struggle but we can do this!!!!

I just went in today and get a 1/4 cc put into my band--- just enough to give me that old 'there is something in there' feeling.

I told my doc, it is the difference between "I could eat" and "I could wait to eat" ----- just a few drops of saline makes that difference for me.

I am excited to be going into the holidays knowing that I have to be more careful and that I won't be constantly thinking about food.

When you find it bottle it and send me some would you?

I was up 7 lbs over halloween and the week we had to eat out due to power outage.  I've lost 2 and have been picking like crazy.  UGH!

I haven't had a fill since April, I think I may schedule myself for one after thanksgiving.

But I know I need to get off the sugar train, stop eating sliders and snacking

AHA

That's it the three SSSs

sugar, sliders and snacking

HEY STEPH!  Happy to see you post and see that you knew where to go when life sucks us back into our old easy-to-fall-into-ways.  You know what to do. 140 lbs!!! AWESOME.  My weight loss is slow but I havent exercised  up until a week ago. After 8 days, I do feel more energetic ...sleeping better too.  Maybe you just need to shake up your routine a bit..try something new.  YOU CAN DO IT!
