For me -- I have a rule where I can't 'slack off' 2 days in a row ---- so, if I want to sit out today, I know that I have to get out and do something tomorrow.
I know the C25K is 3x a week --- so if you make yourself get some sort of exercise every other day, you will do great!!!
Keep on -- and if it gets tough, just go back a week -- who cares if it takes you 2 weeks for each C25K week -- you will get there!!
Congrats! Just try to push yourself a little farther each day. That is what I have been doing with my weight lifting. I have a routine I follow for each day of the week. Each week I increase my primary lift by 5lbs. I do 5 sets of 5 along with at least 3 supplementary lifts depending on what muscle I am working on. If I can't lift all 5 sets I lower the weight 5 lbs and stay at that weight for the following week, then try going up again the week after that. If I really struggle on the 5th set then I stay at that weight for another week. It seems like a pain to keep track of but not really. I have an android phone and I use Jefit to keep track of it. The program also has an extensive list of the different exercises and has an animation of how to do them. I find it to be very helpful. It was a free app, but I ended up paying the $5 for the pro version as it had more features. It is well worth it.
The best advice I can give is to not worry about what everyone else is doing and focus on yourself. Just the fact that you are out there running means your farther ahead of the person still sitting on the couch. Motivation comes and goes. There was about 4 months in my journey where I did not work out almost at all, but the motivation will come back. For me it was to look back at old photos. I know I never want to be fat Dan ever again and working out will keep that from happening. Just because I lost the weight doesn't mean I don't have to work to maintain it. We all know how hard it was to lose the weight, so let’s not make it all for nothing.
Good luck and again congrats for regaining your motivation!
