Has anyone on here had  a Tummy tuck with Medicare?? I am on Social Security Disability because of my back..I was wondering what the "Criteria" is for the TT.. I need one.. My daughter works for a Plastic Surgeon and she said Medicare pays "after the fact".. But I just don;t want a huge bill.. Can someone help.. I am so tired of this skin hanging..I can't get anything to fit right.. It looks horrible.. I do get "sore spots" under my "flaps".. But I don't let them get bad..I keep myself really dry. I went shopping yesterday for a dress and was horrified that everything I put on looked terrible.. I was disgusted... help...Lucky

It would most likely cover a pannulectomy but not sure about a full TT. Panni removal would be a medical neccesity where a full TT might be considered cosmetic. You would probably have to discuss it with someone who is familiar with medicare. Good luck tho!

Thanks...My daughter is going to talk to her boss..(She works for a well respected PS). I never thought it would bother me, but looking in the mirror disgusts me..  I did some research and found that some ppl  get back pain from the excess skin hanging..i have had multible back surgeries, but lately (past 3 onths) I have had pain in my lower back and on the sides (where my roll starts. Thinking the excess might be the culprit.     Lucky
