3days post surgery(COUGH)

Is this normal I have this cough that's came from no where , and I'm not sure if its associated with my warning nose or the band. but i feel like im full between my breast bone

You are three days post op , I would call your doctor and ask his advise. Hope it gets better soon

Ick! You might have caught something while in the hospital. They are very dirty places. Call your doctor. If you need antibiotics, take them. I experienced a bit of coughing post op from the tube they stick down your throat but not with a runny nose. Sounds like you might have a cold.

Highest Wt: 274 / LAP-Band Low: 180 / Sleeved at 233 / Goal: 160!

I have had a bit of a cough since surgery but its not too bad no other issues but i do also take a sinus/alergy med everyday to keep it from getting bad.

One of the side effects of Vagus nerve irritation is cough. If you are only 3 days post op, your diaphragm is most likely irritated (and the nerves run throughout the diaphragm) and it's causing the cough. Or your throat could be irritated from the tubing used during surgery, too.

It sounds to me like you're experiencing the after effects of the CO2 gas they use to "blow out" the abdomen during surgery. That full feeling in your breast bone is most likely from that.
