I have a question for anyone who has done this diet. It states that you need 45g of protein supplement, plus vitamins, and then it gives a list of protein to eat 5x a day. Do we get the 45g from a protein shake?

Thank you,

I have always taken that to mean 45 g above and beyond your normal goal of 60-80 g per day.  When I last did this diet I was getting about 100 g per day.  I stuck to it faithfully and lost 6 lbs.

You can get the protein however you want I guess, but dense protein is always best for a bandster.  I would supplement with 1 shake in the a.m. when I'm the tightest.

Thanks Lisa! I have mainly been getting my protein through solids but was unsure since the word supplement was mentioned. I usually can't get anything down in the mornings because I am very tight, and I will drink a hot liquid for breakfast. When I couldn't get cottage cheese down one morning, I thought I had messed up my band or dilated.

If you type in Plateu Busters diet in the search area for this site it will bring up the 10 day plan. is is usually tried when someone ha**** a plateu anf their weight loss has stalled. You do it for 10 days.
