Sad, but I believe it. I've been on a 1400 calorie food plan for 2 years now (and actually EATING 1400 calories and not more :) and my weight loss has totally stalled out. I see so many other people that are skinny eating far more and excersizing less. Blah. But what can we do but keep plugging away? To give up on this news would be far worse than the fighting to keep what we've lost.
Yeah, I think it also helps explain why, as I've gradually dropped my intake from 1600 to 1400 to 1200 calories a day, I've lost nothing at all in the last 3 months. I used to be at the gym 5 days a week, but now that I have a child and I want o be able to spend some time with him in addition to working full time, I don't go to the gym until after he goes to bed. So now I'm doing good to go twice a week. I've started taking the stairs all the time at work now (from floor 8 to floor 12 and from floor 3 to floor 8), but still nothing.
