A Food Hangover????

I believe I experienced a food hangover today. I bought a Marie Calanders Coconut Cream Pie about a month ago when they were on sale.  I have yearned many times for that %#*@ pie. Well today I got it out and ate a LOT of it.  Now I have only had sweets in small doses for the last 9 months.  It made me feel awful! I didn't want to, but made myself go work out, and about half way through, I started feeling better. Needless to say, I do not want to do that again.  And I can definately say, I learned my lesson.  It was NOT worth it like I thought it would be.

Wow! Isn't it amazing how our bodies were made to tell us what was good for us and what isn't?  When we're in the throws of our food issues, we are so used to feeling like crap that we don't even notice!  Good for you going to the gym and for learning the lesson.  I still don't think I fully have!

Stop and notice the feeling really carefully. Really try and remember it in great detail. Hopefully when you get a craving and urge like that again remembering what this is like will stop you or you won't have as much. Right now I'm craving Peanut Butter and Ice Cream! Ugh! K

I did it with the entermans cheese thing..I had a piece each day then finiished the box before week was done. Felt so addicted the the sugar bought oreos. Mine you I'm not a sweet eating person. Goes to show you what can happan. I gained 3 lbs and can knick myself. but truly like you won't do that again. I gave the pkg. of open oreos to my grandchild. Better her than me. Our bodies let us know who is boss.
