I'm very proud of you. You look fantastic and I know that its not easy.My yr will will in Dec. I have been ina battle recently with hunger and cravings. I went astray and every day I start over trying harder. My visit to mydr. is coming up and I will get another fill. I got one last month and since then have been able to consume alot of food instead of the oposite. Congrats again and keep it up..

Thank you :-) i am glad you are seeing your doctor soon. I have had some hard times but i didn't beat myself up over them. I just kept on going. I don't know if i am truly in the sweet spot with band but i am definitely in the sweet spot in my head.

You look amazing?  I'm scheduled for surgery November 22.  I was very excited and not at all nervous until I went to my primary physician today just for a routine checkup.  He was NOT AT ALL in agreement with the procedure.  He believes diet and exercise alone is the key to weight loss...my target is a 65 lb. goal with the lapband.   (Oh, I did not mention I have gained an additional 10 lbs. over the past 12 months while monitoring what I eat and exercise).   Now I'm concerned if I have made a good decision to have the surgery but then I read this forum and see the success individuals like you have made I feel confident.  Do you have any regrets???

No I do not have any regrets! Some people have said they regret not doing it sooner...I do not regret that either. I don't think I would have been as successful if i had done it any sooner. It took me 2 years to finally decide I was mentally ready. There is a big difference from telling yourself not to eat 5 slices of pizza and not being able to 5 slices of pizza. I read everything I could good and bad about all the surgeries and the band is what I decided was best for me. That's all you can do.  Good luck to you on your journey!!
