I am so jealous! I would love to hike the Grand Canyon someday. In the meantime, I am hiking the mountains of PA and NY.

Do you have any pictures?

That sounds like a dream weekend!!  How wonderful for you!!  I would LOVE to do something like this!  You should be very proud of yourself with all of your accomplishments and being so active.

I understand the being hungry and taking too big of a bite and then having your band ruin your lunch.  ha ha

Fantastic trip and accomplishment   You are such a wonderful support buddy to the rest of us bandsters.

LOL I have learned  that "THE BAND WILL ALWAYS HAVE THE LAST WORD"  I just need to listen to Sybil more often.

Remember, if you want to be a 155 pound person, you have to EAT like one.

Wow, thanks for sharing this, it sounds like beautiful time. I was so amazed to read that you made it back up in the same amount of time it took to go down. We have to love these bands of ours.

Kath,

I wouldn't give your band 100% of the credit - I think you were probably a gutsy lady long before you had band surgery!

That must have been an amazing experience! I'm in awe of you!

Wonderful! It's amazing what you can do when you don't have to drag around all of those extra pounds! I can not wait until I reach that point! Congrats to you!

Oh, Kath this is an amazing story thank you for sharing it. I am in awe of you.If my arthritis didn't keep betraying me I would love to do something like you did. What a great experience.

Isn't it funny that you can challenge the canyon and win but try to challenge your band and you are not gonna win, ever. Yeesh!
Congrats, again.
