May I ask why you revised to gastric? I had lapband about same time as you and I have a feeling I should have gone another route.I am very happy that I revised, and it is heavenly to be able to eat without throwing up.
Bette, I think people just drift off into post wls lives! I went MIA for most of my fourth year, then somehow got caught up in OH again. I am actually spending more time on a UK board these days. It's a bit more positive!
As we noted earlier, one old timer has recently returned! Quite a few come to the Grads board but that is extremely quiet these days. People pop in, say hi, go again!

Hi Bette-
You didn't name me, but I'm an old timmer, got my band about 4 years ago, I did realy well in the beginning, but then gained most of my weight back. Just found out I have diabetes, and HAVE to lose weight, so I'm back. I too am missing the oldtimers, seems like people don't post line they used to.....

I am still here, Just do not post much. I do try to check in daily and try to stay positive now that I am getting my band tighten back up (sinus problems and unfill for 4 months). Got a little tired of the drama. But hope to see more people posting soon. Waiting for the next generation of Newbies Love the new tattoo Bette
