Thanks for your honesty.  What are you doing now to keep weight down.  How much did it cost to remove it?  I think I'm going to live with for awhile then save up for tummy tuck and lipo:) well see I just want people to know its not for everyone and it doesn't work.  My aunt and five of her friend all have lap band and it worked for them I'm the only one in group it didn't work for.  It is frustrating.

I regained after hysterectomy and a 6 month course of prednisone. I did OK for the first couple of years with keeping the weight off. The prednisone did me in, however. I gained about 50-60 pounds in a year or less.
My insurance covered removal because it was a medical necessity. It was a life threatening cir****tance.

Oh wow,  Your lucky to have it out and be heathly.  I'm thinking my could be premedipausal that could be the reason for losing weight.  It is frustrating.  I keep working out to clear my mind but hontestly it hasnt help lose any weight.  I work out at least five times a week doing the trampoline, spinning classes boot camp pilates reformer.  Nothing in fact I gain most of time when I work out a lot.  I going to start working in the medical field soon I can't wait to meet good surgerons and get this out of my body.  I'm going to work in the plastics world as a surgical tech.  Wish me luck. I hate the band it sucks!!!!! I really feel ripped off.
