is the water intake your prob?
At the beginnng I had a chart and checked off the cups as I drank them.
I also mapped out my day between food and water to ensure I drank them all.

oh no I get in plenty of water  I only have one kidney so I am probably taking in more than I should but I have always loved water  I got the Mio water flavor so I will have some regular water during the day and then maybe do a strawberry water or a fruit punch something to mix it up since before I had surgery I was drinking a 12 pack of Dr Pepper every day and now havent had any

If you are getting all your fluids in then document it for a week or so. Schedule another appointment and take that log in with you. If you have a fluid restriction then take something from that doc that says that. Be sure to get that protein in, as dense as you are allowed on this post op phase. I was starving from the day after surgery and know it is tough, but hang in there. Don't expect your first fill to work magic, it probably won't. Just stay the course.

BTW if you don't log your food, do that as well as the fluids. Take it all in. Show the doc what you eat and drink and tell him you are starving. Sometimes they think that if you are losing enough weight, as you have done, you don't need a fill. I think hunger pains qualify.

Good luck, Sue

Wow, if you aren't feeling any restriction you and have lost 50lbs in less then 2 months that is awesome! I had my surgery on March 1, 2011 and have lost 40lbs and I think it's wonderful! Are you sure you you need a fill? That's a lot of weight in such a short amount of time.
