A new doctor on board?

For years we had the benefit of Dr Curry who took the time to answer threads every day, giving advice which he always balanced by saying he was not the doctor of the person posing the question and his comments should not be taken as anything other than general information. Many on this board are actually patients of Dr. Curry and many others were grateful for his advice.

I see we have a new doctor answering threads and some of the comments made are not necessarily what we are lead to understand by our own docs.

So is our new doctor an experienced bariatric surgeon? Banded himself as Dr Curry is?

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

.5 fill March 2012. unfill of .25cc May 2012. Unfill of .5cc June 2014.

Still with my lapband with no plans for revision. Band working well since

last small unfill.

I don't know Dr. Aranow, although I have heard good things about him. However, if that posting really WAS by him, I'm disappointed, because I would expect a well-known surgeon to have better spelling/grammatical skills.
