Sli***** Slip?
Hi all!
How do you know if you have a band sli*****t? I've had pretty good restriction up until yesterday. I was all of a sudden able to eat my normal cup of food with no restriction sensation, soft stop or hard stop. Same thing today. I made myself stop eating, but I am used to some type of signal. I am having no other symptoms such as reflux. Is there anything else I should be looking for? Or is it possible to have a slip and not know it? Just feeling a little paranoid because all of a sudden I can eat more and feel nothing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Give it a day or two . Sometimes our bands can be fickle and we can eat more then sometimes not.LOL I have times like this as well. I am thinking most everything I have heard about slips says you would have trouble keeping anything down alot of the time.Good luck and I bet in a day or so you will go back to having you soft stops.:)

hi my band slipped it has been3 weeks now and i still am having trouble getting food of any kind to go down and i do have pain an intense burning/stabbing pain when i try to eat i am going in 10 days for another upper gi to see if the band has corrected itself, i also have extreme reflux especially at night . my band feels extremely tight since the slip ,if you feel there is something not right with your band you should talk to your surgeon.good luck to you
