Sli***** Slip?

Hi all!

How do you know if you have a band sli*****t? I've had pretty good restriction up until yesterday. I was all of a sudden able to eat my normal cup of food with no restriction sensation, soft stop or hard stop. Same thing today. I made myself stop eating, but I am used to some type of signal. I am having no other symptoms such as reflux. Is there anything else I should be looking for? Or is it possible to have a slip and not know it? Just feeling a little paranoid because all of a sudden I can eat more and feel nothing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Give it a day or two . Sometimes our bands can be fickle and we can eat more then sometimes not.LOL I have times like this as well. I am thinking most everything I have heard about slips says you would have trouble keeping anything down alot of the time.Good luck and I bet in a day or so you will go back to having you soft stops.:)

Have you been continuously losing weight?  Perhaps you have lost enough weight since your last fill that your fat around your tummy is decreasing causing you to need additional fill.  Just a thought.

When I had my slip, it was more about reflux and at times not even being able to keep water down.  It could be hormonal.  About a week before my period, my band seems to loosen up and allow me to eat more....of course during that time period I WANT to eat more, so it's a battle!!

From what I've read slips are usually always accompanied by sudden tightness (where nothing is going through) and reflux.  Some report pain others say no pain.

It might be time for a slight fill.  I'm 3 years post and still have to get minor adjustments up and down.
