 Honestly, since I take in so few calories the only thing I watch is protein and carbs, I don't really worry about the sugar or fat. I figure if something is pretty low in carbs, it's going to be low in sugar. So I look at calories, carbs then protein to decide if it's a good option and fits into my plan.

For the first few months post op I journaled what I ate each day. I counted calories and protien. I ate pretty low fat but didn't track the grams, same thing with carbs. I stoped journaling because it was feeling too much like a "diet" and I had falled into a routine in terms of my eating.
