which one do I pick?
2/09 pre. 264.7
214 lbs. Band removal. 4/29/20014 revision to sleeve 12/2/14 243.4
So I have to agree with hubby on this one if you watch your calories then then the others should fall into place .

So in effect, although I don't count, I suppose it is calories first!

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.
Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
Never counted fat
Now that I am so close to goal I am watching the carb count in things. If they are good carbs ie fruit/veggies I do not worry too much.
If i want to eat something totally crap and not good for me I don't count anything LOL

MyFitnessPal - Nutrition Facts For Foods
Looks like you're going to get a big range of responses to this one! I count calories and protein only but I try to not eat anything with more than 5 g of sugar per serving because I know that sugar causes carb cravings in my case.
I cut most saturated fats from my diet and try to use only the healthier fats like olive oil and avacado, etc. My one splurge is that I do occasionally use real butter on my yams! I also rarely, if ever, eat fried foods and use 1% milk so I figure by making these consessions I'm already eating a fairly low fat diet. A body needs some fat so don't cut it out completely. Just make sure your getting it from the most healthy sources possible.
Hope you win the dinner!
