Things I can't eat
Congratulations on your weight loss!! I used to go to Dr. Artuso for my fills, as he was much closer than my original surgeon. I recently revised to RNY, but had a similar list when I was banded.
My list included breads of any sort, including bagels and English Muffins. It would just sit there like a lump until I threw it up.
No Pizza either, it was more of a consitancy issue
I was able to eat small amounts of brown rice but not white rice.
any fruit with a skin including blueberries or grapes. The only way to eat them was to peal them. Yea like I was going to peal grapes? NOT
As some people stated I was able to eat certain crispy crakers like flat bread. but nothing like saltines or Ritz.
Raw vegetables never agreed with my band, though if they were fully cooked they were fine.
That's all i can remember at the moment, I had my band for 5 years so I think I just got used to what I COULD eat and sort of forgot about what I COULDN'T eat. Thankfully my RNY diet is similar so there's not a whole lot of re-learning.
Best of luck to you
