Mucinex D

How do you all take Mucinex D? The box says not to crush, chew or break. I have been on two rounds of antibiotics teamed with a steroid for an inner ear and sinus infection but I still have a lot of pressure and drainage in my ear. These pills are so hard to get down.

Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. I did a search and all posts were by RNY's.

Thanks.

You might consider taking Robitussen DM instead.  The expectorant part of it is the same ingrediant as mucinex and it's liquid so easy to take.  Whenever I have a cold/allergies, whatever, and need to get rid of all the mucus, I take RDM.  Just a thought.

I saw the liquid advertised so I went to check it out....it was for much more than I have going on. Colds, sore throat, etc so I passed. The children's granules....oh the quick dissolve? Never thought of trying those.
