Been reading this board for awhile, never posted anything. Seems to be alot of good information here.  My band surgery is Monday morning, I can't wait to get this journey started.

Best of luck to you,  I was  a little nervous before my surgery, but everything turned out fine, they did find I had a  hiatal hernia, which they repaired.  I was in alot of pain, but I took the pain medication and it helped,  again congratulations,...

Good Luck to you! I also had a hernia repair for a hernia I didn't even know I had, but somehow it cured me of a cough I'd had for over a year and a half. (wierd huh?) I was up and walking ASAP and had very little pain. The 1st 2 times I walked, I had to have a nurse walk with me cause they thought I might fall because of the anesthetic. But I was determined to start that walking like my doc said. I guess it really helped me, cause the only pain I had much was gas, and I just delt with that for 3 days, but it was a b#@^h.

Youll be up and walking by the end off the day walk as much as u can ! Good Luck!!!!!

I wish the best to you today on your surgery. I'm sure everything will be fine. My was good just had problems with the gas. That lasted a few days. I had no pain and was up around in no time. This is the place to ask questions.
