Weird tiny purple balls in my vomit!!

So weird and embarassing. 2 weeks till my 2yr band anniversary. When I throw up due to gurd there are these tiny purple balls that are sprinkled in the vomit.  Yes bazar and nasty I know . Any one know what this is ???? not eating anything like it.

I think I would be concerned if I were throwing up regularly, never mind the purple balls!

Do u take nexium? Isn't that little purple balls when u open the capsule?

First off, you shouldn't be throwing up.  In 2 years, it's happened 4x's for me.  You need to talk with your surgeon. As far as tiny purple balls, are you taking a capsule?

Just make sure it's not blood in your vomit.  Coffee grounds or dark colored balls could be indications of a bleeding ulcer or other condition.  I agree with the other poster, is there any  medication you take that could explain such as a capsule?  If not, I'd get to the Doctor as soon as possible.

I have had my band for 7+ years and I still throw up very regularly.  The problem with people saying it should be this way or that way is that everyone is different.  I guarantee you that if someone hasn't thrown up but a few times teir band is not tight.  Anyway I found its post as I was too searching for vomiting small purple balls.  Did you find out what it was?  I am on prilosec (omeprazole) 2 capsules a day.  I also only notice it when  throw up liquid when I try to drink for the first time of the day.  

 

So I don't know if you ever figured it out, but I had this same thing just happen to me. I haven't had any surgery yet but I am on day 2 of taking Victoza, 1.8 once a day, metformin 4x500mg, omeprazole 20mg, lisinopril, glimepiride and pipglitazone. I took all that maybe 8 hours ago, now. Threw up because I ate too much and the Victoza makes me nauseous if I eat too much, and lo and behold there are little purple balls! I extricated them and took pics- they exploded with purple liquid after being smushed- they honestly looked like tiny little raisins or something. The only thing I had with dye similar in color was trolli's berry flavored gummy worms (yesterday). I took pics, if that helps?? Did anyone ever find an answer??
