denied b/c of psych eval!!

Just thought I would let ya'll know the outcome of my psych eval They called said the dr wanted me to wait 3 years and be stable for those 3 years before he would do the surgery.  The other dr thats even remotley in my area has a 2 year waitibg kist for medicare patients Im just so lost my health is really bad b/c of the weight so im just really depressed about it right now.

I am in Helena ga its south of Dublin I have to have a dr and hospital thats a center of excellence b/c they take medicare thats the only way I can get it done.

Get another psych eval. Things can be "misinterpreted" and perhaps you answered some questions that didn't come out like you meant them to? On the GA forum there should be a list of Drs. that take Medicare. Go out of state if u have to. Good luck!

I had my psych eval with Dr. Walfish in Atlanta. Not sure if he takes Medicare but I'm bipolar and passed. I had to do the eval twice, because apparently I subconsciously answered all the qs with sunshine and rainbows - manic day.
