erosion- bye bye band
Maria, I just want to say for the record that I honestly resent your use of the statement "So many ppl on this forum blame the bandster".... I know you've been on the receiving end of crapola thats not your fault and you have been blamed BUT don't you think the "so many ppl" are becoming the exception? I think a more accurate picture would say " Watch out for *some* ppl on this board..."
You might think the difference is negligible but its statement like these that re-start the wildfires.
HUGS to you ,maria. I know youve been through a lot but I just had to say this. { Or maybe its just my wishful imagination that things are calming down here????)

I stand corrected. The way I phrased it might lead someone to interpret that that being most on the band forum, and that is not the case. *Some* ppl on this board" might convey the message better. ;-)
Hugs back at ya. :-)

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts. It is really hard to get my mind around this but I'm getting there. I figure that the very worst case scenario is that I'll gain all the weight back and then revise, so at least I know I don't have to be fat for the rest of my life.
As far as revising to the sleeve, that would definitely be my choice. I really like and respect my doctor, who is very caring and talented. He has set up an awesome support program for his WLS patients. He does the sleeve, he just prefers not to revise from the band to the sleeve. That being said, I definitely won't go with another type of surgery until I get a second opinion.
Anyway, thanks again for the support. Have a great Sunday.
