Its been a VERY VERY VERY long time since i've been back here. To make my story short, i lost my lap-band (erosion and severe espohagal problems (hiatal hernia + an ulcer). So I am band free, i feel much better now, but it took me months to get out of my depression. I just started going to the gym, along with weight training and keeping a low carb eating plan. I am training my brain to learn to eat healthy foods and this is just going to be a way of life not a "DIET". I learned alot about myself when i had my lap-band. I have no regrets only that i wish i could have kept my band. Oh well, i believe it was a 6 year journey i had to take to really find myself. So, i am going to copy my entire journal from here and keep it as a reminder of what i went through and how its helping me now. This is a tough battle but i am NOT giving up!!! I started at 427lbs with my band, i came down to 290 and now I am at 350. My goal is to get out of my 300's (my knees & back DO NOT like it here), then my ultimate goal is 180lbs, but i am taking baby steps. Wishing you all well and may your band help you to your goal. Here's to good health!

Once a person deactivates their membership, does that mean that they can no longer post here?  I wanted to ask a question of the person that posted the statement.

If you log back in, I want to know if you were spitting up daily which lead to the issues with the esophagus.  Over 6 yrs, did you have this problem?
