Need advice on how to jump start some weightloss please!
Okay so! I've been doing pretty well. In the 6 months since my surgery I've dropped close to 80 pounds. My last offical weigh was on 8th and I was 249.6...
So my doctor told me to come in in 6 weeks and gave me sort of a little challenge. She said...Let's see if you can get to 235 by the time you come back.
So I've started this sort of 6 week's mini goal of 235. I've been doing my usual. I've been exercising 6 days a week and eating around 1300-1400 calories. I also get around 100 grams of protein in. My water intake is pretty high I typically get 4 liters...or 132 ounces of water.
Since the 8th the scale has dropped some, but not much. I was 246 the other day but it keeps bouncing back and forth between 246 and 247.
Is there any advice that you all can offer to help me meet my mini goal of 235?
Perhaps on days I'm not working out I should eat less, because yesterday I sort of hurt my ankle while doing couch 2 5k and I wasn't able to exercise. I still ate the same 1388 calories to be exact and I was an entire pound. (Don't tell me not to weight daily lol... I'm going to do it because it's always worked for me and I like to see how sodium/water/and certain foods effect my body)

First of all, you're results are awesome! Congratulations!
It's all about creating the deficit between calories taken in and calories burned. If you're not able to exercise and burn the 300+ calories I would definately lower your intake to 1000.
I didn't exercise much during the first year of my WL and maintained a calorie intake of 800-1000 to lose 75% of my excess weight in a year.
Take it easy on the ankle. I hurt mine before and it's a slow mend.
Best of luck reaching your goal! I know you will!!

Well, that's the challenge, we're all different. From what I understand the best way to stop a plateau is to change your routine. More calories, less calories, more exercise, a different type of exercise, who knows?! Just mix it up and you should be fine. Obiviously what you are doing is working...
Best~
