BURP!

My burping is out of control!!! I can eat a meal fine, but as I begin to get full i start to burp... which I dont mind terribly since it lets me know its time to stop eating... but its not like one long burp or a few small one its frequent loud belches which will continue on for a while... i try and make jokes and excuse myself constantly the few people who know ive had surgery find it funny, but its embarassing. anyone ever had this issue? How can i make it stop?

I told my lap band buddy I thought I was gassier after surgery. But it didn't last long, maybe a month or 6 weeks. I got to where I would take the gas-x strips right before I ate, and that helped. Fortunately mine were more numerous and small, and I think bothered only me...I feel bad for you. Good Luck!
