Hello LapBand Friends :) .. changes with me
I had lap band in 09 lost a great amount of weight... approx 95 pounds and holding strong.
I had a major road bump last year but I'm recovering from that and moving on.
Lately I will admit Iost my motiviation.. everything seemed so mundane and my weight kept flucuating 5 pounds in either direction... I'm sick of it. But I'm not putting forward the effort I should and I admit it.. but right now I don't have it in me. I just don't I'm over it.. I'm sure this is normal esp. for those of us who are 2+ years out of surgery... no more honeymoon phase.
So I decided to join Jenny Craig. I don't want to cook, I don't want to count points, I dont want to do anything that requires me mentally thinking.. so I pick my food and jump on the scale, chat a bit and call it day and so far so good. I jump on the scale tomorrow and I hope for a good loss.. all my focus has been getting my butt to the gym and I have doing just that.. four days 70/80 min workouts.. the food is pretty tasty and sometimes I can't finish them and I don't force it. I try to stick to things high in protein ..
I only have 40 more pounds to go.. and I'm hoping with Jenny I lose 20 of those 40 then I will decide to either stick with it or go back to on my own. I know I can do it on my own but I'm not in that mental state right now...and rather not do anything I rather do something.

Glad you checked in. I was thinking about you and hoping you were okay. Good for you doing something pro-active. This is not easy for any of us, and whatever we can do to get that scale going down (all the while being healthy) is a good thing.

Good luck with your Jenny Craig. Sometimes we just have to do what we have to do . If Jenny helps you to get refocused then that is what you need to do :o)
As long as you lose weight or even maintain by Jenny, doing it yourself, or any other diet out there it dont matter. You have to do what is best for you and that is all that matters .
