Get a job!

I for one think it is very important to hear every side of the lapband story. Those who have unfortunatley had such severe problems, give us knowledge on what to look for. I hope my story well be a happy ending, but I don't think any of us have any way of knowing that until it happens. I too follow band rules and researched wls before being banded.Everyones bodies reacts differently...good...bad...or ugly.

Actually I've been out of work almost THREE YEARS, my husband out over a year -  and it is nothing to joke about.

Like most unemployed people, I've applied to literally hundreds of jobs and, for the most part, have never heard word one back from them. I've never experienced a more hopeless, depressing and demoralizing time in my life.

I've had to rape and pillage my retirement account just so we can pay the mortgage, keep the lights on the water running, and hang on to health insurance so that if we get sick, sanctimonious gas bags like you won't have to pay our medical bills.

If you have a job you want to give me, great. When do I start? If you don't, shut the **** up.

  Well said!  And I can relate.  I am so discouraged about finding a job...2+ years looking now.  Hubby doesn't make enough so we've been living a rob-Peter-to-pay-Paul lifestyle for quite some time now.  It becomes incredibly stressful, frustrating, and downright depressing.  To come on here and read this garbage from the OP just makes me want to throw up.

Oh I just looked at your profile. You don't even have a band! You know NOTHING about it and yet you want to chastize those of us that DO have a band. Failed band that is.

Well sweetie you go right out and get that band b/c you DESERVE the Lap-Band! And I wish upon you typical band stats! :-)

Now go off and enoy that volunteer job on the cancer ward making all those cry babies over there STFU! Yes I feel that's must be your calling in life! :-)

I love this site for the simple fact that it is honest opinions from people *****present all the different types of weight loss surgery. Anyone could read a pamplet, go to a doctor, or browse the internet regarding weight loss surgery. However, I find the best information comes from people who have went through the process. Therefore, in order to make the right decision based on my specific needs I would like to hear both the good and the bad. If people were to only post the positive things on here than people would think it was bull**** and look for another website they thought was real. I think regardless of what weight loss surgery you have there are going to be ups and downs. Some don't work, some need revisions, others need fixed or removed. What better place to share your story than here where others are going through the same thing. As long as they're posting in a civil manner that is not bashing others than why complain about what they have to say??? Maybe you should get a hobby where your time is too consumed to get on this website, and then you wont have to worry about what others are posting on here. God forbid you have issues with a surgery or weight loss, and need advice. Because you may find someone on here just as heartless as yourself that gives you no support at all.

Why do these completely random people keep starting drama? Ive been banded a month now and while I admit its down right terrifying to hear the bad stories I think they are equally important as the good ones. I pray every night Ill never have to deal with a complication and my heart aches for those who have... They are beating this "failed band" **** to death now. For the people constantly attacking others and starting **** **** OFF!
