I need your help
I can only echo what so many others have said....please don't be too ashamed of the weight regain to discuss it with your surgeon. He already knows you have an eating problem, you won't be the first patient he's seen coming back for help after weight regain, and he should be highly qualified to help you deal with the regain. Maybe a back-to-basics band refresher course, including a talk with your nutritionist, would help you get your focus back.
I also want to respond to your statement that you've been taking care of everything but yourself. I know exactly what you mean. In case you never heard of Jean's infamous Band Rules, the #1 rule is: PUT YOURSELF FIRST. If you don't take care of yourself first, in the long run you won't be able to take care of anyone else or anything else that needs you. So in addition to getting back on the bandwagon, I suggest that you think of something to do to be nice to you (not with food, of course!). A massage, a yoga class, a counselor, whatever would make you feel better both physically and emotionally.

Ok. I got up the nerve to weigh this afternoon and I have just gained 8 pds. So, I am not as bad as I thought. I called the Dr. and got an appointment for next week. I have not over eat, today. Jean, I did do something nice for myself, last week. We went to the Smokies and stayed for a week. I clean houses and I was so tired. Not had a vacation in 2 yrs.I got some much needed rest and got to slow down for a few days. I feel like I am ready to start this deit thing all over again. I find that I over eat when I am so tired and rushed. I clean 2 or 3 house a day,and am not taking time to eat right. Several people in my family have lost their jobs and I am working a lot to help them out. I have read your book and think that I will read it again. That will help me stay on track. Thank all of you for caring about me.
