Yesterday was my 1 yr Bandiversary
First of all don't get discouraged. The weight will come off. It's hard in the beginning especially when weight loss suddenly stops, but the scale WILL start moving again.
Lapband rules vary according to surgeons, but I don't drink for an hour after eating. I don't drink carbonated beverages or liquid calories and I haven't had bread since my surgery. I weigh myself every morning because it makes me feel more in control. I was told to only eat three meals a day with no snacking because it leads to grazing and I still measure my food out unless I'm eating out (which we do a lot of) and then I share with one of my kids.
This board has helped me tremendously (I appreciate the oldtimers more than they will ever know) and I purchased Jean's book. (I still have it beside my bed and flip through it occasionally for an answer or two).
Best of luck to you - Kerry
