bruising

I had my lap band put in on Sept 1st  today when I went to shower I noticed that one leg is covered in large bruises.  I do not bruise easily at all & was wondering if this could have something to do with my surgery and if anyone else bruising.

I am pretty sure that I was administered a small dosage of heparin as part of my surgical care (a blood thinner) -- that makes you subject to bruising.

Call and ask your doctor if you are concerned.

The office was closed today but I am going to call them on Monday to be certain I would not worry if it were one or two bruises but one of my entire legs are covered in bruises.
