Hi, its been one year and 8 months and I am still not at goal, although close, finally losing again after a long stall. I would lose 5 lbs only to regain it. Had a fill again last week, and now have 7cc in my 13 cc band and lost 2 lbs this week, I only hope I continue to lose, but find myself a bit discouraged at how long this is taking. I want to lose another 20 lbs. to be at my goal. Could you tell me how long it took you to reach goal?

It took me one year to lose 90 lbs. I lost weight fairly fast at the beginning, when I was heavier and therefore burned more calories. For the last 3 months, the weight loss was slow.

I had my surgery in February 2011, so it has been about 7 months and I've lost 34 lbs.  I am so discouraged, I wish I could loose more, but I am at a stall.  I would love to loose at least 35 more pounds in the next 6 months.  Good luck to you!!  I go next Friday to the doc and hopefully they will give me a fill, I have 4 1/2 cc so far....

My goal was to weigh 150 lbs, I lost the first 60 lbs in the first six months. This morning I weighed 173 and my pre surgical weight was 256 back on June 19th 2006.
I've lost a total of 83 lbs and the past 11 lbs were with my sleeve ( May 2011 ). I had stopped losing with the band after my second band surgery in 2008 and the scale is just starting to move again. On the bright side everybody guesses my weight to be around 135-145 lbs

HIGHEST WEIGHT AT PRESURGICAL ASSESSMENT 305
SURGERY DATE 282
1 YR ANNIVESARY 165
TODAY'S WEIGHT 200
GOAL WEIGHT 150

I lost 90 lbs in 6 months from surgery date through hard core exercise and clean eating with little to no cheating. Now, I'm struggling to get to atleast 180 so I can be considered moderately overweight instead of obese.

Left the band and rocking with RNY.
They say I have an eating disorder but I say, I have my eating in order.

I lost 107 pounds in about 10 months. I followed a very strict lowfat/low carb/high protien diet. About 4 months post op I started going to the gym. It's very typical to loose weight very slowly when your close to goal. Keep doing the right things and it will come off- I promise. Best wishes.
