14 days post op
I have not started on solids yet I am on the soft/mushy phase. I am not yet exercising the only thing I do is walk as much as possible daily. Below is some of the meal plan that I am on this week if you want more let me know and I can type it in and send it to you. Hope that it helps I think slow weight loss is better for the long run. Please just do not get discouraged! You can do this!!!
Day 1
Meal 1 4 tbsp cottage cheese-low fat, 2 tbsp pears-canned 100% juice
Meal 2 1 sl American Cheese-low fat, 2 tbsp oatmeal cooked until mushy with skim milk
Meal 3 1.5 cup chicken vegetable soup-low fat and chunky
Meal 4 4 tbsp turkey-canned meat, 1 tsp mayo, 2 tbsp mashed potato
Meal 5 2oz grilled fish, 2 tbsp creamed spinach
Meal 6 2 sl Muenster cheese-low fat, 1oz avocado
Day 2
Meal 1 1 poached egg, 1sl american cheese-low fat, 2 tbsp strawberries-mushy
Meal 2 4 tbsp tuna fish, 1 oz avocado
Meal 3 2 sl turkey luncheon meat-sliced thin, 2 tbsp carrots-cooked until mushy
Meal 4 1 cup split pea soup-low fat, 6 crackers-plain
Meal 5 2oz chicken-minced dark meat with gravy, 2 tbsp green squash-cooked until mushy
Meal 6 8oz yogurt-non fat no sugar added
Day 1

In between shakes, I've only had SF ice pops, water and soup so far! Cannot wait for the mushy stage!

that is awesome you have not felt hungry. The shakes made me so sick so I was unable to do them and the nutritionist had me replace the shakes with soup and I was staying so hungry so they moved me to the next phase. I am not as hungry but still get stomach hungry. I know when it is head hungry from being bored ect and that is the times that I get up and walk. I go for my first post-op appointment tomorrow
