I have been having the same problems also *sigh* Mine has been popcorn for some reason I am just craving the stuff

As fall comes into play and winter that is when I struggle the most because I'm not as active. we are not camping, or boating or doing other things and we are inside alot more.  This is the time that I really have to watch myself because I get bored and I eat :o( . I use to smoke so I never had these issues of being bored and eating , I smoked my way through.. Sometimes I wish I would just go back to smoking because I wouldn't have these issues with food .

I can follow the band rules to a T during the day also .  Shoot there are times I have to remind myself to eat because I'm not hungry but dang when that sun goes down and it gets dark its like the night time munchie monster comes out of my body and says feed me feed me lol.

Plan a snack (one thing)

Eat it --- brush your teeth, floss, gargle, turn off the kitchen light -- KITCHEN CLOSED til breakfast.

Some good strategies listed.  I've used them all at one time or another.

One other strategy that has worked for me is to work off the calories before indulging.

If there's something I really want, I'll figure out the calories in it, and then get on the treadmill (or whatever .. ) and workout until I've burned the calories I want to eat.   Most of the time, once done, I no longer want the whatever it was.  But if I still do want it, I have the indulgence and THIS IS IMPORTANT.. I do NOT feel guilty over having it.

Keep up the good fight.  :)
