I have held my tongue  on alot of things in this forum but to wish that on somebody my god what the hell is wrong with you ?   I dont care how pissed off you get in here as to what somebody said , to say something like that to anybody you are one heartless human being.~

Probably...but I prefer to say "Obsessed with HAVING a LapBand even if you end up with no stomach."

Hey Karen, I think it is great that you have been so honest about your band problems. I think the thread could be very beneficial to a pre-op who is undecided.

While you are happy with your bands despite requiring multiple surgeries and experiencing an erosion and happy with the weight loss the bands have helped you achieve, there may be others hoping to avoid multiple surgeries or who need to lose more weight. Reading about your experiences could be very helpful.

You are definitely entitled to your opinion and if you are happy with 3 bands, great! Hopefully this 3rd one will be the dream come true, but hypothetically if you ever needed to get to a 4th or 5th band and you chose to do it...again, totally your choice. You get to say what is right for you. If other people know themselves well enough to know they would not be pleased if faced with a similar scenario, then they need to realize going into a band that this is a very real possibility and does actually happen to people.
