I have a concern.........

As most of you know, my band experience has NOT been good! I never reached restriction so the surgery ended up being for nothing, but compared to a lot of others I've been lucky. I haven't had some of the major issues so many others have had. Today I vomited, as I have before with the band, but this time it was different. It was not associated with eating. I am hoping this is not the start of another band issue. I may just be over reacting. Have any of you that have had band problems had this happen as the start of a more sever band problem???

I am so sorry the band has failed you!  I don't know the answer, but do warm liquids for 24 hours, then mushies 24 then real eating.   If you still are having the vomit problem, call your dr.

Good luck to you!

I think there is a page for people with different failed surgeries.  You may want to check there.   But I'd stick with SF Natives advice.

I am going to check on there too. The main Lap-Band forum has more ppl than the failed band group so I was just trying to get a a quick response.

Thanks.

Btw...........you got your band exactly a month after I got mine. You've done much better than I have though. Congrats!!!

Is it possible that something upset your tummy?  I had a violent stomach bug over a year ago and I also had some major puking a month ago due to a kidney stone.  Neither of which have impacted my band -  or were caused by my band.

Ok, I couldn't resist. Shoot me.  But, seriously, maybe it is just a bug from the crazy weather changes we've had. Or just food poisoining or something.

Feel better soon,  I think you will be just fine.

Hoping it's nothing more than a wonky tummy but if not I'm sure you'll keep us posted.
