I'M BACK!!!!
I don't know if ANY of you remember me, but I was very active on here before and for months after being banded. I got my lap band in May of 2008. I lost 120 pounds with it. I got pregnant in September of 2010 and had an unfill so that I could eat and give the baby proper nutrition. With no restriction, and unforseen, very sad cir****tances in my life, I gained 90 pounds during my pregnancy. It made it very obvious that my choice to get the lap band was definitely the right choice. I VERY obviously need it. Since having my baby this past May, I've lost 20 pounds (most of that being baby and water weight) and I'm weighing in currently at 290. I am going in to get a fill tomorrow and am excited and nervous to be back on the wagon. I've basically been without a band for the last year. I feel guilty and disappointed that all my hard work in losing weight was undone so quickly, but I also know that if I've done it once, I can do it again. I'm hoping to become more active on the boards again because it was such a great help to me last time. My new goal is 100 pounds in 1 year. I CAN DO IT!!!!

Lapband - Jan 2009 weight goal reached with lapband. Revised to VSG- 1/25/16
I really need to hang with you this next year. I've gained twenty pounds this summer. I can't believe I gained it so quick. It felt like it took forever to take off the weight off. You are so optimistic and this is so encouraging for me. Thank you for sharing your story. I've been lurking on here for a couple of weeks, but today is the first day I have acknowledged the weight gain. I've never stopped exercising (thank GOD) or I would have gained so much more. I really need to be more consistent with my eating.
Keep posting...you are an inspiration:)
P.S. I guess it is time to change my weight on my signature:( It used to make me feel so good (I'll get there again)!!!!

You've taken the steps needed to succeed. Get that band working for you ! You know what to do food wise so get rid of all the junk in the house so you have a chance without unnecessary temptations.
You were a rock star on this forum before and I know you can do it again. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help you down the road.
Best~

Please don't waste any more time or energy on guilt and disappointment about your weight regain. During your pregnancy, you obviously had other priorities to occupy you. There's only so much one person can juggle successfully at one time, you know? The past is the past. Now that your little one is here, you can get back on the bandwagon. You did it before and you'll do it again!
