Realize Band VS. Lap Band??

Can someone please tell me the difference between the two?? How many different Lap Bands are out there?

If I am not mistaken I think the realize and lapband are the only two. I don't think one is better than the other I think it's a choice your surgeon makes on which one he offers his patients.

One is about as bad as the other. Both are very ineffective. Look at the revision forum and you will see how many bandsters are revising FROM the band!

Both are rather similiar. I originally had the Lapband and was replaced 2 yrs ago with the Realize C band. The Realize does have a site to track fills and food intake etc. The Realize also has a lower profile (thinner) port which is a bonus as well.
