SO i have been on the liquid diet  for eight days now and in 4 days the scale has not moved... is that normal?  it went down 0.8.  I have not cheated once - got all my shakes in, all my clear liquids, which was 32 oz of Gaorade G2, and 14 oz of the Chicken broth that is low fat and low sodium, and a other half bottle of G2.  so why isn't the scale moving?  I have been on the liquids now for 8 days and i ws doing good.  I lost two pounds the first three days and now only a pound on day 4 and no nothing... Any suggestions for?

Yes it is normal - your body is adjusting. Also it depends on when you weigh yourself as liquid is very heavy and if you retain the water you will not see the scale move.  Be patient - this is a process - not an event.  Good luck with your journey and please don't get frustrated or be too hard on yourself.

When you actually go for your surgery you might be surprised when you get on the scale. My scale at home as of yesterday had me almost 3 pounds higher than I was this morning prior to my surgery. I would say just keep up with the diet as planed and don't sweat the weight at this time. There is no denying that the liquid diet does throw your body through a loop but it is a necessary one.
