Hi.. I am new to this site. I am looking for the best option for a revision. I have searched out various options then I came accross this site. I had RNY in 2000. I find myself grazing and never being full. I am very interested in the BOB. My questions though is that my doctor tells me that my actual pouch is very small but the stoma is very large.

Hi, BOB is band over bypass. You should have one pouch/stoma that is connected to the small intestine. Make sure your surgeon has done several BOB's. Did you get an UGI to find out how large your pouch is? Good luck. Mona

If your stoma is enlarged but your pouch is still small, adding an adjustable gastric band could be a good solution. I know of another BOBster, LisaBeezee, who has done very well with weight loss, but she's not active on OH right now because she's dealing with a family tragedy. If you edit the title of this thread to say something like "looking for info about band over bypass", you might draw some responses from other BOBsters.
