Ok guys...there are ALWAYS newbies on the message boards looking for Support Groups to attend.....why don't we list some that are open for them to attend. Please list location of the group,....city,....state.....time and location and what surgery types if specified are welcome to attend. Thank you

HALTOM CITY, TEXAS......Sunny Street Cafe.....5000 Western Center Blvd. Last saturday of each month.....informal support group.....everyone welcome pre op's post ops all surgery types. Meets at 9 AM.

KELLER, TEXAS......LOSE IT 4 LIFE ( OH ) Support Group.......303 N. Main Street......meets at Carroll Watkins Driving School........first sunday of each month 3:30 - 4:30 PM. All surgery types welcome......pre ops welcome. Topic based support group....monthly clothing exchanges.....samples each month of different products.

Lap Band on 11/10/08

I lead a Gastric Band only support group in the greater Seattle area. We hold our meetings on the last Saturday of each month from 10-12 at the Valley View Library near Sea Tac Airport.

We have a great group of regular attendees add newbies regularly. Some members travel up to 3 hours to come to this group so if you live in Oregon or Eastern Washington you might be able to find someone to carpool with.

on the FB support group can everyone read it or is it just for the members that are with the group.. if so I would like to join, as you know I'm looking into doing the LB next year
