band slipped a yr ago, now stuck. HELP!
Hi! How are you? Nice to see your "face" you look great!
All is well now, had a baruim xray, dr said band looked fine and not slipped afterall. Had a scope done last yr and dr said he saw no sign of it, that's y i thought i was slipped. Got the band drained last night at ER and it passed thru w/ one big swallow of water. Feel great now.
Thanks for your concern. I'll try to be on more and get to know everyone again and the newbies. :)
Gods Blessings.

Thank you cheyenne, i did go into the ER, they did a barium xray, found out my band had not slipped after all (Thank God). They were able to take out all my fill, i took a big drink of water and it passed. So i will be unfilled for a while and let things settle down. I am still sore today but so grateful to be able to drink again.
I had a scope done on my esophogus and stomach some mths ago, the dr said he saw no sign of where the band would be, and said he thought it had slipped, that's why i thought it wasn't where it should be. I think it's because out of the 10cc's i "did" have in the band, 1/2 of it was gone.
Thanks again for everyone's help. I am grateful. I know i can always count on the great ppl at OH.
