Question about eating before a fill!

I'm scheduled to get a fill next week. Usually, I go first thing in the morning. This time I'm going at 2:30 in the afternoon. Would it be okay to eat lunch at 12? I usually just have soup.

I have not had a fill yet but my doc told me when I do get one I can eat my normal breakfast and eat some thing lite for lunch

Your soup will be just fine for your lunch :o)

No matter what time of the day I have a fill, always have not eaten 2 hrs prior and has went well, 12 would be fine!

I agree, my doc's office says no food 2 hours before a fill so your band will be totally clear. You should be fine.

Better check with your doctor. Mine says no solids for 4 hours before the fill. I can have liquids all I want though.. so soup would probably be ok.
